Meeting Minutes and Agendas

Objective

• Act as an advisory group to the school administration
• Provide a forum for parents, staff and community to express thoughts regarding school issues
• Recommend ways to enhance the quality of education in the school
• Participate with the principal and staff in the cooperative development of an annual school improvement accreditation and the Climate and Culture Strategic Plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide input that represent as closely as possible the views and sentiments of the entire school community
• Review proposals for school-wide change
• Use consensus decision making 
• Select from its membership a chairperson
• Establish rules of operation and review annually

Membership

• Shall be broad based and represent the entire school community
• Membership should include the following groups, faculty, administration, parents and community
• Records of attendance shall be maintained of each meeting
• Voting on a decision will be rare. In case a vote is necessary, those eligible to vote must have attended the last previous accountability meeting.
• Membership is open to entire school community.
